3rd Annual Swatara Township Police Department Pistol Competition
The Swatara Township Police Department is proud to announce their third annual pistol competition. The competition is open to law enforcement personnel only. The competition will include two events, a four-officer team event and an individual event. Trophies will be presented to the first place team and individual for each event.
Swatara Township Police will again this year be partnering with the COPS for K.O.P.S. (Keep Our Pipers Silent) charity. We are asking all participants to donate $20 each or $80 a team with the entire amount going directly to the charity to support the families of our fallen officers.
The competition will start promptly at 0800 hours on Saturday, May 18 2013 and will be held at the Steelton Boro Police Range. The Swatara Township Police Association’s Auxiliary will be on hand to grill hamburgers and hotdogs for anyone interested, free of charge.
Come out and enjoy some friendly competition and, of course, help out a great cause. To assist with the event planning, responses should be received by May 3, 2013.
