Swatara Police

On August 9th, 2011, 34-year-old Kory David Patnode of 1136 Hedgerow Lane, Harrisburg, was arrested by Swatara Township Police.  He was charged with Corruption of Minors, and Endangering the Welfare of Children, after it was alleged that he purchased marijuana, provided it to a 15-year-old female, and ingested it with her.  Patnode was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail for those charges, but was able to post bail, and was released.

On August 10th, 2011, Swatara Township Police Detectives met with the same above mentioned 15-year-old female and her foster mother.  Upon interviewing the juvenile, she alleged that she had been having consensual sexual relations with Patnode.

After interviewing Patnode, Detectives charged him with Statutory Sexual Assault, Indecent Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Unlawful Contact With a Minor, Corruption of Minors, and Unlawful Contact with a Minor.  Patnode was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Steven Semic, and committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
